From this point on, I transitioned into pure video editing rather than visual effects. My older brother was my biggest influence, as he was also making GoPro edits and uploading them on his YouTube channel. I wanted nothing more than to do the same. So, I did. While nothing too special, it’s nice to have a time capsule of that era in my life.

Biking & Soccer

Pretty self-explanatory, really.

Adirondack Adventures

Every summer for almost two decades, my family would travel to Covewood Lodge, a beautiful resort in the Adirondacks. It’s a core part of who I am, so of course I had to make a little video documenting my time there during the GoPro years.

Summer 2k15

At the time, I remember this feeling like I was editing a feature film. So much video to sift through, put to one of my favorite songs during that period. Looking back, I’m proud of the fact that I had the hindsight to know that this goofy video would be something I’d watch when I’m older and distinctly remember the feeling that summer gave me. Even if certain shots look uncool to the average person, I prioritized their meaning to me, over their aesthetic. In that way, it’s far more personal and nostalgic to me, now.
